Dutch Real Estate
In my career, I’ve built a solid track record in the Dutch real estate market. After starting out my career in acquisitions at a Dutch investment firm, I co-founded Telestho Vastgoed with my colleague Pascal Van de Schans and as a team turned it into a dynamic boutique acquisition bureau for investors. We consistently handled around 20 transactions a year, topping €25 million annual in volume.
Over the years, we saw the value of the acquisitions and started participating by launching James Herman B.V., then through a collaboration with a private investor Hermosa Properties B.V. came into play, pushing towards almost €50 million in direct investments across the board and over €200 million in total deal volume.
We have done acquisitions on a very wide spectrum, mostly multi family and mixed use commercial/residential, but also churches, industrial, offices and leisure.
I currently am still invested in 50 units either personally or through our active investment businesses.
3 barbershops, 3 restaurants, 8 retail stores, 1 real estate brokers office, 1 photography studio, 23 residential apartments and 2 re-development projects creating 11 condos and more to come.
Most of our work is centered on the Amsterdam area and the broader Dutch market, especially in off-market investments. Below, you’ll find some examples of the properties we've handled.
